Belfast residents warned of signs someone could be spying on their phone

Belfast residents have been warned about the signs that someone could be secretly monitoring their phone, as concerns over covert access to mobile devices continue to make headlines across the UK. Our phones contain almost every detail of our daily lives, from private messages and banking apps to photos and location history. But while most people worry about hackers stealing passwords, few know the signs that someone could already be secretly monitoring their device. Arqam Zafar, Marketing Director at AstrillVPN, says most people have no idea how easy it has become for someone else to gain access to their device, and the warning signs are not always what you would expect. Most people assume they would notice if someone was spying on their phone. In reality, the warning signs are often subtle and easily mistaken for an ageing device or a software glitch.
